HUNTR ("the App") is developed by Muell Haus Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Your card collection — every card you swipe, your hunting list, custom lists, and scan history — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We cannot see it, and it is not tied to any account.
One exception, described in Section 3: when you add a card to your hunting list, the App reports that card to a community counter so the app can show which cards people are hunting most. That report carries the card, not you.
Cross-device sync via Apple's CloudKit is not enabled in the current version. If we turn it on, this section will say so before it ships, and the sync would be handled entirely by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you choose to participate in a card show, you can optionally share a subset of your collection with other show participants. When you do:
You can stop sharing at any time using the sharing toggle in the show settings. When you leave a show, your shared card data for that show is deleted from our server.
Card show features are turned off in the current version of the App. Where the App offers to continue as a guest, that creates an anonymous account on Supabase with no email or name attached.
When you add a card to your hunting list, the App sends that card's identifier, name, set, and image URL to our server so it can keep a running count of how many times each card has been added. No account, device identifier, or anything else identifying you is attached, and the counts are public in the App. There is no way for us, or anyone else, to work backwards from a count to a person.
The App uses your device camera to scan trading cards for identification and condition grading. A scanned image is sent to our scanning service (hosted on Supabase), which passes it to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini for identification, OpenAI for condition grading) and returns the result. The image is used for that one request and is not stored, by us or by them. Please refer to Google's and OpenAI's privacy policies for how they handle data.
To count your monthly scan allowance, that request carries a random identifier generated on your device the first time you open the App. It is not your Apple ID, your name, or your device's serial number, it is not shared with the AI providers, and deleting the App discards it.
The App may also access your photo library if you choose to scan a card from a saved photo. Photos are only accessed when you explicitly select them.

Your local collection data persists on your device until you delete the App or clear its data.
Card show data on our server is deleted when you leave a show. If you wish to delete your account and all associated server data, you can do so by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The core collection tracking features work without an account and store data only on the device. Card show features require Sign in with Apple, which is managed by the parent or guardian's Apple ID settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
